(Bonus after the trip: I am actually seeing me in few years (or maybe longer :p) spending more time here in Nha Trang, where else can be better: beautiful beach, tempting delicious seafood, cool weather, & a dream garden home with dream parent-in-law & little "Nai" (his family's cute dog). I think I'm too old now, hmm hmm).

Comment from a very nice flickr's friend Loentje :o) "That's an awsome shot. Great light. I love the detail on the shute! Awsome job and it looks like a lot of fun too. I've never done that, but always wanted to. Maybe one day I'll take a chance a go for it."
The first thing one should probably know about Ho Chi Minh City is that the weather is constantly hot, in summer it could be extreme.

After a few short days visiting the Ho Chi Minh City, my Bear and I travelled by a night-train to his hometown Nha Trang with beautiful beach. My Mum, my sister and her husband also arrived at Nha Trang on the same day of our arrival by a morning-flight from Hanoi.

The 1st time my Bear and me went diving, I was a bit nervous at first then full of excitement & amazement underwater. We even actually thought of getting a diving certificate.
By the way, the fish looked scary to me! :-p
Cano ride to the islands
The cano was fast & the waves were strong enough to make the cano jump up & down. My hands were shaking holding the camera sometimes..

When visiting Nha Trang, it is also worth visiting the Po Nagar temple
"Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mâu. The Po Nagar complex is situated on Cù Lao Mountain. It consists of three levels, the highest of which encompasses two rows of towers. The main tower is about 25 m high.." (source: wikipedia).

the only reason why I enjoyed a delayed flight :p HCM 04/06/09.
Delayed flight HCM-Singapore spared us a little time to play with our camera. In the photo, two strangers were waiting for boarding. Ho Chi Minh City 04/06/09.
Very joyful family holiday, June 2009.
