It takes about 2.5-hour by high-speed train from Paris to Rennes. We're lucky having friends in Rennes to enjoy a weekend getaway here and to visit some famous places nearby. Thanks you guys!!

"Special nut" which was believed to be similar to the one in the Ice Age movie ^^, we were happy to find them the first time
Rennes park on a beautiful sunny day
The next morning we went by bus from Rennes to the Saint Malo beach. The weather was cool and a little windy. We visited first the Castle, then relaxed at the beach which was rather crowded.

On the next day we travelled again by bus to another tourist attraction place nearby: Mont Saint-Michel.

top left: Mont Saint-Michel's characterized by very narrow roads from entrance to top, that makes the place even more crowded; top right: movable up-down entrance gate/ bridge; bottom left: street cafe at entrance;
bottom right: famous local omelets in famous restaurant La Mere Poulard (expensive though, and according to our girlfriend Trang, it's not really different from normal omelets, so should not try unless you have some money not to spare :-p).
p/s: fresh ice-cream on the narrow street near the entrance is delicious, although a bit sweet to me :-).
a great traveling day for all of us!
Fun time!
We had fun trying many many times to jump as high as possible, even though not very successful at the same time but we all busted into laughter :-D.
"Cảnh vật tuyệt vời, anh ước trong đời được lang thang như em lắm." - a comment from a nice flickr's friend, Piero_HN.
